Marketing leader · Fractional CMO

I build marketing that people remember, and that moves revenue.

Thirteen years across growth, brand, CX, and experimentation. Second employee at Mutiny (Sequoia-backed), where five promotions in seven years took me from pre-product-market-fit to $10M ARR. Trained as a mathematician. Building with AI daily.

Surv-ai-vor: turning AI anxiety into $1.7M of pipeline

Mid-2023, ChatGPT set off a fear spiral for marketers. Instead of another webinar series, we built a reality-TV-style competition: 12 episodes, 21 industry speakers (Autodesk's CMO, OpenAI's GTM lead, Writer's CEO), a custom game portal, weekly challenges, and a $14K prize pool. Players earned points for learning, sharing, and referring.

Product pivot · Voice of customer · Executive leadership

Holding $10M of revenue through a full product pivot

Mutiny rebuilt itself from a website-personalization product for growth teams into an ABM platform for a completely different buyer. I led the customer side: supporting a product being phased out, running the design-partner program for the one replacing it, and channeling voice-of-customer into the roadmap as part of the executive leadership team. The base held at ~$10M while the company changed what it sold and who it sold to.

Gamified activation: making customers want to do the work

Adoption is a motivation problem, not an education problem. I designed a system of competitions (Holiday Challenges, March Madness brackets, certification journeys) that made launching experiments a game customers wanted to win.

42%
lift in launch velocity (5.2 → 7.4)
25%
of the entire customer base in one challenge
457%
conversion increase for the winning customer
+73%
activation lift in the hardest-to-move segment

Custom player trading cards and customer trash talk on LinkedIn
Custom trading cards turned customers into players, and the trash talk went public on LinkedIn

The lift landed hardest where it mattered: +73% in the segment that rarely launched

Brand · Original creative

Breaking through AI sameness, with jingles and raccoons

When every B2B brand started sounding like the same LLM, I went the other way: original music, animated characters, campy fun. "The ABM MBA" jingle turned product education into brand entertainment, and the raccoon videos gave Mutiny's ABM era a mascot people watched on purpose.

Each piece is stamped with when and how it was made. The tooling has advanced so quickly that work from 2023, 2024, and 2025 should each be judged against what the tools could do at the time.

"Destination Pipeline" · October 2025 · Suno, Midjourney, Runway, Tensor.Art, iMovie

Work with me

Two ways to work together.

Fractional

Senior marketing leadership, before you need a full-time CMO.

For founders who need someone to own positioning, pipeline, and brand, and to build the systems a future team will run. I work as an extension of your leadership team: in your strategy conversations, your standups, and your Slack.

  1. Discovery sprint. One week of daily working sessions on positioning, ICP, and channels, ending in a 3–6 month marketing plan.
  2. Embedded leadership. A monthly retainer at 20+ hours a week to run the plan: outbound engines, launches, content, and the dashboards that show what's working.

Full-time

Open to VP Marketing, CMO, and Head of Growth roles.

I'm looking for B2B companies, remote-first, where marketing owns growth and brand together. I'm at my best in companies that are changing: finding product-market fit, moving upmarket, or rebuilding around a new buyer.

  • Growth, brand, and CX leadership under one roof
  • Built and led teams from one to six
  • Part of the executive team through a full product pivot

About

From experimentation analyst to full-stack marketing leader.

Test, measure, iterate.

Six years building experimentation programs at Brooks Bell drove $13MM+ in annual incremental revenue for enterprise clients. Every campaign I run since has a hypothesis and a number attached.

Make it something people want to join.

Competitions, characters, and music get people to do the work on their own. Customers launched more, prospects shared more, and the campaigns kept getting cited years later.

Build with an AI-native stack.

I run outbound, content, and creative with Claude, Midjourney, Suno, and Runway, so a small team ships like a big one. I built both of my companies this way.

  1. 2013–2019

Brooks Bell Optimization Analyst → Senior Consultant
